What it is
Fascia is the tissue that wraps the muscles, organs and joints. When it stiffens — after an injury, after surgery, after years of poor posture or long periods of emotional tension — movement becomes restricted and pain settles in places that seem unconnected to its real source.
Myofascial therapy is a manual therapy that releases those restrictions. The aim is to restore mobility, reduce pain and bring the body back into its natural balance.
Who it is for
- chronic pain that has not responded to conventional treatment
- restricted movement
- persistent muscular tension
- recovery after injury or surgery
- postural problems
What you receive
- A full assessment of the body
- Identification of fascial restrictions
- Personalised manual treatment
- Recommendations for the periods between sessions
Contraindications
- acute infections and fever
- recent fractures
- open wounds
- deep vein thrombosis
- active oncological conditions, without the treating doctor's agreement
- very recent surgery in the area being treated
Treatment is not carried out during the acute phase of a condition, until the general state has stabilised.
